Going Crackers
Inspired by Artemis over at Tales of a Junkaholique I decided to make some christmas crackers. Albee provided the jokes but Max had a complete melt down because there wasn't much that a three year old could do. So anyway, I really should have read more into her statement that "cutting them out was a bit of a job". The whole process nearly killed me. To top it off, I'm not convinced that any of us will be able to pull them apart because I used quite thick card. hey ho, that's me done for christmas crafts this year I think.

Kinder Surprise
A new game has developed. It can literally go on for hours. Named Kinder Surprise because whoever is the old hag calls out "kinder, kinder" in a creepy high pitched voice until you approach and then screams "surprise". HI-LARIOUS. I love how easy young children are to entertain, God knows what we shall do when they develop their critical faculties.

Hmm, How Novel.
'Inspired' by an idea sent to us by lovely Leila in NY, any spare books lying around have been fashioned (by Jimmy of course) into our Christmas Tree. I'm not too happy with some of the books that are pulling focus but I do love that he used a figure of Tom Paine as our very Lewesian Christmas fairy.

Alternative Tree
This crumbling house across the road from us is being lovingly restored at the moment. They have used proper old glass in the windows that shimmers beautifully and shows off their festive ladder tree a treat.
