No Photos Please

The Royal Stables in Versailles put on equestrian show by Bartabas of Zingaro fame. Not nearly as good as his real stuff but still lovely and in a beautiful setting. The only real annoyance was that I only got to take four frames of the riders warming up and the entrance before being told that no photos were allowed on the premises.

Ah Paris

                  

These past few days I have been a real tourist in my home town with my six year old as my traveling companion.

Today was my first time up the Eiffel Tower. This is especially ludicrous given that my school was round the corner, our playground was so small that they used to ship us to the Champ de Mars to play at beneath the damn thing.

Susan Bell, photographer extraordinaire has the most amazing house full gorgeous light. She said when I arrived "No photos, the house is such a mess." But I managed to twist her arm.    

Bills

There are Bills Produce Stores popping up all over the country I believe but Lewes is home to the original one. I took these the other day when I popped in for a smoothy with Max. The smoothy was so thick he needed four straws to drink it up.
