My Street in the Snow

It all looked so promising and I thought these would be the first of many snowy pictures on the first day of advent. But alas five minutes of of great snow and then nothing more to be had.

Period Drama

These are actually from the weekend. Visiting the friend pictured in Sunday's post lead us through this film set.
Apparently in the first shot they are having a long debate as to how much horse manure to take out of the horse manure bucket and put on the street.

Bonfire Night Lewes

They take it all quite seriously in these parts...
Until last night I had never heard the full poem of the 5th of Nov, so
here is its entirety:

Please to remember, the fifth of November,
gunpowder, treason and plot,
I see no reason why gunpowder treason
should ever be forgot.
Guy Fawkes, Guy Fawkes,
'twas his intent
to blow up the King and the Parliament.
Three score barrels of powder below,
Poor old England to overthrow:
By God's providence he was catch'd
With a dark lantern and burning match.
Holloa boys, holloa boys, make the bells ring.
Holloa boys, holloa boys, God save the King!
Hip hip hoorah!

Pink Car Park in Marrakech

There will be more from my three days of nonstop shooting in Marrakech but only when my computer stops groaning from the strain of processing all the pictures.

Marrakech

I wish I could show you some of the photos of La Mamounia. However, they belong to Vanity Fair for the moment so I am posting the prettiest airport instead.
