There's life in the Old Girl Yet


SS Great Britain in Bristol is quite simply the best museum of its kind that I have ever been to. Everybody walks around with big grins on their faces. They have recreated the interiors with as much detail as a film set, but the best bit is that you can touch EVERYTHING: lie in the beds if you fancy it, sit at the tables, there isn't a rope to stand behind in the whole place.

The Most Excellent Goldborne Road














































A trawl around Goldborne Road was the perfect end to a brilliant week in London Town. 
There is something about this road that makes me so stupidly happy. I have been visiting or living near it almost all my life and however many trendy shops or cafes open, it seems to retain a spirit that no amount of trustafarianism can shift. As for the portuguese Natas...
