Here are some photos I took for Vanity Fair Travel. The issue is out now which means I can  officially use the photos.My favorite place I photographed was The Harem, a women's only retreat on the outskirts of the city. It had an amazing feel, I just wish I could have kicked off my shoes and stayed all day. 

Another lovely chilled out place was the Beldi Country Club, I dashed in on my way to the airport and as the light was fading but I could tell it deserved another long and relaxed visit. 
Then for the super filthy rich, as opposed to the mildly minted there is always the Royal Mansour Hotel. It is pretty spectacular if a little scary. Newly built as a town within the town, you get an entire riad rather than just a room. Said riad has a false wall at the back that the staff scurry around behind to pop out and serve you, light your cigarettes, open your bottles of wine etc. All a bit unnerving if you ask me but you can't argue with the fact that the whole place was amazing to look at. 

Before The Royal Mansour was built La Mamounia was 'the' place to stay.

Sandways

Some photos I took last week at a lovely house in Camber Sands. Despite it being a grey day the house was gorgeously light and summery feeling. Incidentally It will soon be up for holiday lets and as photoshoot location. So if you are interested get in touch and I will put you in contact with the owner. 

Shrewsbury & Back

Yesterday I got on or in 6 trains, two tubes and two cars to do a shoot in Shrewsbury. My traveling companion was Krystel the Hair and Makeup artist. I loved her look (esp her fifties glasses) so had to take a sneaky pic on Birmingham railway station platform. For anyone needing hair and makeup they should checkout her site here. She was great to work with and most excellent at her job.

Birds and Birthdays

I took both these pictures yesterday and had to post them before it got to midnight. 

Because 1) today is Nick's Birthday and 2) he is a keen bird enthusiast (I think that is the polite terminology). 

Not sure what he was thinking about. Perhaps contemplating his birthday to come as he chills towards the end of a kids party.

Viva 'Viva Lewes'

For those of you who don't live around these parts, Viva Lewes is a brilliant Lewes-based magazine which has an online version. Yesterday I became their thousandth follower on Twitter and they have been super kind giving me mentions. I thought I would pay a little photographic tribute, it being February and everything and since I  ♥ the magazine, here is an attempt at a Viva Lewes Heart.
